The leather is fine as well as buckles. Was a bit bigger than expectedBought way too many bags over the past couple years trying to find just the right one to replace one I've had for 20+ years. This is perfect. Only thing I really don't like about it is strap. It's adjustable; but, it's not adjustable enough. It needs more holes to shorten it's length. I'm 5'2" and it hangs just too far down on me.Was looking for a small handbag, but, one a bit bigger than the one I had!! This one is perfect!! Just received it yesterday and already using it!! Good quality handbag and love the compartments!!I was looking for a purse that had 2 zipped pockets to carry things that you don't want falling out randomly. It has easy access to the middle area with a snap closure. The strap is adjustable for over the shoulder or crossbody. The only negative was the zippers, and the only reason I gave 4 stars. They are a little stiff but that's not a big issue for me. It's a winner for me.Love everything about it! Soft and light. Very well made, just perfect.I agree with another Reviewer. In the two separated zipped purses, there is no pocket or pockets that you can store your phone or anything that you want to get to quickly and it’s right there in it’s own little place ?Purse zipper is made out of plastic, not real leather and it feels really cheapPerfect for upcoming vacation .
