That was me and for years I’ve used glass containers and metal for various things but these items proved to be unsafe and too heavy for my young children to use in school. Also, containers take up more space (which is lacking in our home) in the freezer, fridge, cabinets, and in bags. For some items my family was still using ziplock bags for longer than we should have been. I took a chance on these bags and I can assure you that this product will satisfy all the things you may feel you still need ziplock bags for. Need to marinate the meat for dinner? Done. Need to pack your kids lunch? Done and it’s much easier for them to open and close. Need to freeze and then defrost or cook some meat or veggies? Also done all within the same container. The products even include a drying rack. So in short… Yes, buy it, it’s exactly what you need.I used them to organize my diaper bag. They fit 5 or 6 size 3 diapers in the large size easily. Perfect for some snacks for on the go. Other brands are fine, but I wanted some that expanded a bit so I could use them for more than just food. Plus, finding a way to be more eco-friendly is always a plus.These are great, and we’re using them for all kinds of things, but when we used them to sous vide meat it leaves a residue on the inside that’s impossible to scrub offOmg I love these so much. The only thing that I’m upset about it that I didn’t buy them sooner. I buy regular one use baggies all the time and I was tired of the fact that sometimes after a couple hours they would be thrown away. I still have the single use ones for specific things but 9/10 times I’m grabbing one of these. I use them for food, putting my phone and other things in them at work to protect from metal dust and harm and nothing gets through the bags. The only thing, it’s not really a bad thing I guess, the “snack bag size” is about the size of a sandwich baggie. Technically that’s a good thing that they are a good size but sometimes I do really need a true snack bag sizeThey kept my grapes crunchy for a week +. That’s all I need to know. Just bought some more.I only gave a overall 4 star review because I’ve only had & used them a short period. The drying rack is nice but I’m actually just using it right now inside my cabinet to store & separate the different sizes of this set & another similar I purchased. For me it was hard to judge how many & what sizes to buy so of course I bought too much & shared my overflow with one of my daughters, win win. For the cleaning & drying I’m just doing what I did with plastic that I reused, utilized what I already had out on the counter, that works fine for me but the drying rack works perfect for storage. I can find the size I need quickly without rummaging through everything. I do take the time most times to hand dry with a towel the inside before putting away just in case so no mold develops. They are so nice I want to keep them the way. I do recommend, anything is better than all this plastic we mindlessly use on a daily basis. ? ☮️I’m trying to use less plastic baggies, these are a great option.I had heavier ones before, and these are much better.
