Very sturdy !! Has little plastic pieces of the inside so it doesn’t swing open all the way when you’re trying to get your stuff off, which is helpful. I have a bad habit of trying to close the chain in the bag, but the bag itself seems very sturdy. I’ve banged it on quite a few doorways and walls and the glitter hasn’t come off, and the paint hasn’t chipped. The chain hasn’t changed colors or turned my skin green, a perfect cute purse I’ve gotten so many compliments :)
