There is an outside zip pocket; inside zip pocket; a heavy-duty zip on the top; an unzipped inside pocket; a narrow leather 'strap' inside with a clasp on the end which is long enough to attach keys to open the car/house/office without removing the keys, so one always knows where their keys are; and carrying straps which are long enough to adjust to the exact height one wants whether the purse is carried on the shoulder, or across, and in front of the body.
