This purse is roomy but the perfect size, not too big. I like the silver chain against the navy blue color I ordered since my shoes are also silver and my dress is navy blue velvet. The outside of this purse is a nice soft material and is slightly padded for softness. It has a nice magnetic closing. This is perfect to bring to a wedding as a guest. The only criticism I have is that the band of rhinestones, as lovely as they are, does not actually show up as a silver band as was indicated in the picture. It is actually a navy band with a gentle rhinestone parkle. I gave it 5 stars anyway because it's beautiful anyway.
