I'm very pleased with this bag. Although leather would have been preferable, it is a fine substitute. The gold is just the right shade and the stitching looks great, despite other reviews. I searched a long time through many bags on department store websites trying to find the right dimensions in black leather with gold trim. There were several for $170 plus.
