Baggallini New Classic Five Blocks Crossbody Bag - Lightweight Travel Purse for Women, RFID Protection, Multiple Pockets - Perfect for Shopping, Travel & Everyday Use

I am a nurse practitioner. I took a job making home visits to patients. I tried this bag out to carry around a basic set of equipment to check vital signs. I can fit a bp cuff, pulse ox, stethoscope, hand sanitizer and a few other small items in this and get it zipped. I couldn't fit much more gear than that but wouldn't need to. As with other Baggalini bags I've owned, this one is quite attractive with the light blue interior and the overall design, also extremely well constructed with sturdy fabric, secure stitching, attention to small details like zipper pulls and hardware. I like the pocket placement, there are a variety of sizes of internal & external pockets for stashing different items including phones, pens etc. I don't see the purpose of the credit card slots but that's just me. Maybe I'll use them to hold my business cards. I haven't had the bag long enough to comment on water resistance. While I've probably got an unusual use for it, I can also see how this bag would be a great travel bag for carrying essentials on day trips, carrying around a tablet or e-reader etc. highly recommendThere is no strap!! Looked in the box & in every compartment-No Strap!! Hopefully I can get a strap sent because a crossbody won’t work without a purse strap. Without one, I’ll have to return!!!Quality construction. Perfect for everyday or travel. Several zipper-closed pockets inside and outside.As soon as I opened the bag, I knew I had found the perfect bag for me. I love the east-west orientation bags, much easier to find items in when a bag is wider than it is long. It has just the right amount of pockets and sections and is very light. It fits close to the body. I normally carry Kipling Angie and it's great, but just a wee bit too small and I end up stuffing it too full. This one is just a little bigger and that's what I need. The fabric and hardware are high quality, as is the construction. However, I got blue thinking it was a dark navy and it's not. It's quite blue and doesn't go with all my clothes. So I'm returning for the black. The gray is nice too, and would go with anything, but it's described as having a shimmer, which I wouldn't care for.I love this company and have so many of their bags. This crossbody bag is fabulous because it is cool for both the ladies and the guys. My partner and I are going to Scotland this Fall and he is going to use it for site seeing. It has lots of pockets and the lovely Baggallini zipper pulls that feel so nice in the fingers. Water resistant nylon. So many places to stash things and of course zippered and secure inside pockets for valuables to deter pickpocketers. This bag can hold a tablet or Kindle Fire. (Always check the measurements if you are in doubt if your tablet will fit.) But probably too small for a small laptop. The other main zipper compartment has all kinds of slip pockets to keep you organized and has a pen pocket. Always need a pen for travel to fill out forms. Outside stash pocket for tickets and such. If you are worried about the price, don't. Baggallini bags are very well thought out/designed and well made and worth every penny.I love all things Baggallini, so I was very excited to review this Baggallini New Classic Five Blocks Crossbody Bag. In reality, I will probably only use this as storage for my iPad. For that purpose, it's perfect - well built and constructed, ample padding, and a cute design. A typical crossbody purse has more storage space than this does, so I'll be using this to hold my iPad, charging cord, pens and pencils, headphones and other accessories. You can see it in the stock photos. It has a notched opening and is located behind the front zipper but before the zipper on the main pouch, along the top stitched seam.
