Perfect crossbody bag! Good size, nice quality leatherWill hold phone keys and wallet, lipstick and glasses without bulk.The bag is not large. It is about twice the size of a crossover cell phone bag. The cognac color does not have a red range of tone. It is just a middle brown. The leather is not soft but it is not rough either. The strap is not as pliable as I expected. The leather shows marks even with light use. But that is expected when the leather is somewhat stiff. You have to get the top sides of the bag parallel to each other to get the top zipper to slide easily. The inside zipper is ok but it does not move very smoothly. Inside pocket is about the depth of the sides. The bag looks nice but it is not very distinctive in any way. As to craftsmanship, it looks well constructed. I wonder however about how the top zipper will hold up because it does not slide unless positioned just right. It’s easy to yank on it and not zip. I got this at a big discount. If I had paid full price I would be dissatisfied and consider returning it.I love Frye handbags. This is just a different color to one I already have. When it first arrived it had a very strong odor. By putting baking soda in it and airing it out, it is perfect.Quality, quality, quality!!! I am a fan of Frye boots. I have several pair that I have invested in over the years. This is my first bag and it did not disappoint, this is real leather craftsmanship. You want to store in the dust bag it came with when not in use. Since it is real leather, it can be knicked or scratched if not taken care of. A leather conditioner/protecter might be a good idea if you plan on using daily. I have worn several times and get a compliment every time! Would recommend and purchase again.Great purse. Perfect size.The purse is pretty but it is that intermediate size between clutch and medium handbag. It works for me but barely. That is my only complaint though. I'd like it just an inch or two wider. Height is good. Leather is soft.Great crossoverLove fryeI ordered this purse in cognac and the purse I got is far from the rich brown I expected. Also the leather almost looks and feels vegan (although it definitely smells like leather) and the lining is just plain grey, not the luxurious lining shown online. My attached pictures show how the purse looks after 2 weeks of owning it.But the size is perfect and I'm hoping it will improve with age. Bottom line....it's alright but I don't love it, hence the 3 stars. More than a little disappointing!Wife loved it. Big fan of all the Frye products.
